Your IDfied account

Phone lost or stolen?

If you use an authenticator app on your phone to sign in to IDfied, do these three things.

1. Lock or erase your phone

Use your phone maker's service to lock your phone or erase it: Find My on an iPhone, or Find My Device on an Android phone. Do this first, so that no one can use the app on it.

2. Get your number and your email back

Ask your mobile network for a replacement SIM with your number. If you cannot get into your email, use your email provider's own account recovery. We send the next steps to your email.

3. Sign in to IDfied

Sign in with your password, then choose Lost your phone? Use a recovery code, and enter one of the codes you saved.

Lost your recovery codes as well? On the same page, choose Ask to turn off the app. We email you a link to confirm. 7 days after you confirm, we turn off the app. You then sign in with your password and a code we email you.

If your password was reset with a link we emailed, or your email address changed, in the last 7 days, you can ask once those 7 days have passed.

Still signed in on another device?

Go to Account and security in IDfied and choose Manage beside How you sign in. Choose Lost your phone and your recovery codes? Turn off the app with your password. Enter your password, then the code we email you. This turns off the app and signs out your other devices. Then set the app up again on your new phone, and save the new recovery codes somewhere other than the phone.

Lost your email as well?

If you have lost your phone, your recovery codes and your email, we cannot turn off the app for you, and no one at BEfied can. This keeps your account safe from someone pretending to be you. Get your email back first. If you cannot, you can create a new IDfied account with another email address.

Need help? Email support@befied.network. We will never ask for your password, your codes or a photo of your ID.
